After starting last of 7 in the Bronze Unlimited heat at Reno, Graeme Frew took Fullnoise to the front of the pack in a thrilling six lap blitzing. Average speed 309 mph. Graeme’s race tactics were simple, give it the jandal coming down the start chute and try and get past as many as possible by the first pylon. It worked, there were only two ahead by the first pylon and in three laps of the six lap, 76 km course, Fullnoise was in the lead. First ever race in Reno, first up win!

man. makes me so proud to be a kiwi aviation enthusiast reading about you exploits 🙂 always wanted to go to Reno – hearing those aircraft running with the throttle through the gate must be a truly amazing experience!
It really is an amazing experience, and seeing Full Noise come from behind to compete in the final race was an inspiration, even if they did not win.
Congratulation to you Graeme and Full Noise for doing New Zealand proud……hope to see you in Wairarapa skies some time soon …Kind Regards …..Graeme Pearse….
Thanks Graeme. We are planning on attending the Air Show in February.
